Clinical Hypnotherapy

A therapeutic technique that involves inducing a deeply relaxed state (hypnosis) to access the subconscious mind, which is more receptive to suggestion, allowing clients to create change in their lives that may be difficult to achieve through other methods. This state allows the therapist to guide the individual towards positive change and resolution of a wide range of issues.

Hypnotherapy is highly individualized and tailored to each client’s specific needs. I collaborate with my clients to identify their goals and concerns and develop appropriate suggestions and imagery to address these goals effectively. This personalized approach ensures that the therapy aligns with each client’s unique circumstances, enhancing the experience and encouraging a positive outcome.

Issues that can be treated with hypnotherapy include, but are not limited to:

What to expect during your Hypnotherapy session

During a hypnotherapy session, it is important to have an open mind and be willing to engage in the process. Typically, I like to meet with clients for one or two counselling sessions first to explore goals, and address any concerns or questions. These meetings are important for getting to know my clients and establishing trust.

During a hypnotherapy session, I will guide you into a relaxed state through calming techniques, with guided visualizations and instructions. In this state, the you will be able to more easily access your subconscious mind and explore your thoughts, emotions, and memories. I will use guided imagery and positive suggestions tailored to your specific goals or challenges. Throughout the session, you’ll remain fully aware and in control, ensuring your comfort and safety.

The session will conclude with a debriefing, where you can discuss your experience, ask questions, and gain insight into the next steps of your therapeutic journey. Overall, a hypnotherapy session offers a unique and powerful approach to self-discovery, healing, and personal growth.
